On 21 April 2025, His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, received at the Headquarter of Embassy His Excellency Amer Bin Ali AL-SHEHRI, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkmenistan.

On 17 April 2025 His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, visited the Headquarters of the Embassy of Malaysia to Turkmenistan to extend His deepest condolences on the passing of His Excellency Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia.

On 15 April 2025, at the Headquarters of the Ashgabat city Municipality, His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, met with His Excellency, Mr. Rahym Gandymov, Mayor of the city of Ashgabat.

On 2nd April 2025, His Excellency Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, The National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, received His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al THANI, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, First Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and Vice President for Asia.

On 16 March 2025 His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al THANI, Amir of the State of Qatar, held meeting with His Excellency Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and his accompanying delegation.

On March 16, 2025 His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim AL-THANI Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and his accompanying delegation.

On March 3, 2025 His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, received a phone call from His Excellency Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan. During the call, both sides exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and discussed key issues of cooperation between the two countries, as well as ways to develop and enhance it.

On 11 February, 2025, The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Ashgabat arranged sport activities on the occasion of the National Sports Day with the participation of Mr. Nasser Ali AL-KAABI, Acting Chargé d'Affairs and other employees of the Embassy

The Embassy of Qatar in Turkmenistan celebrated the National Day of Qatar, which is observed on December 18 each year. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Kerimberdi Kurbanov, the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials, Heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Turkmenistan, businessmen, and media.
