I would like to begin by expressing my profound joy and proud to have the honor of representing my country, the State of Qatar, in Turkmenistan, as our countries are bound by strong friendly relations. As a result of the concerted efforts being made by our leaders to enhance these ties comprehensively, significant advancements have been witnessed in recent times. This includes the inauguration of the State of Qatar's Embassy in Ashgabat in 2014, and reciprocally, the opening of Turkmenistan's embassy in Doha in 2023.

Mr.Ghanem bin Abdullah AL-REMAIHI, Acting Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Ashgabat, Minister of Education of Turkmenistan and official delegations attended the opening ceremony of the International Mathematical Olympiad among schoolchildren which was held in the city of Arkadag during period March 25-30, 2024. ​ On September 1, 2023, the Secretary General of the Equestrian Federation of the State of Qatar, HE Sheikh Ahmad Bin Nooh AL THANI, met with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, His Excellency Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the possibilities for effective cooperation between the two countries in the field of training personnel of equestrian sports and horse breeding.

On Wednesday, 28 June 2023, His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, hosted a dinner at his residence, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. It was attended by Their Excellencies Ambassadors, Members of the diplomatic missions of Muslim countries to Turkmenistan, as well as guests from brotherly Arabic countries residing in Turkmenistan.

​ On Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Headquarters of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, met with His Excellency, Mr. Akmaljon Kuchkarov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan. Issues of cooperation between the two countries and ways of developing were discussed during the meeting.
