On 21 February 2026, His Excellency Mr. Nasser bin Ahmed AL-TAHER, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, organized an Iftar dinner on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan which was attended by Mr. Yalkap Hojagulyyev, Mufti of Turkmenistan and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, along with Ambassadors and Diplomats, heads of offices of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, and friends of the Embassy.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, His Excellency Mr. Rashid Meredov participated in the opening ceremony of the Exhibition, held by the Ministry at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of Turkmen Diplomatic Workers Day, which is annually celebrated in February. This opening ceremony was also attended by a number of officials from the Ministry and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to Turkmenistan. On January 30, 2026, in Doha, a "Memorandum of Understanding between the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding and the Qatar Equestrian Federation" was signed during a meeting attended by the President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation, Mr. Bader Mohammed Al Darwish, and the Rector of the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding, Mr. Pygy Bayramdurdyyev.
