On Monday, May 26, 2025, The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and the Football Federation of Turkmenistan signed at the QFA headquarters in Doha a cooperation agreement to strengthen bilateral relations.

On Monday, May 26, 2025, His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid AL-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, met at the headquarters of the Turkmenistan’s Cabinet of Ministers with Her Excellency Mrs. Bahar Seyidova, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid AL-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, met at the headquarters of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan with His Excellency Mr. Nokerguly Atagulyyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

On Friday, May 16, 2025, His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid AL-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, met at the headquarters of the Turkmenistan’s Cabinet of Ministers with Her Excellency Mrs. Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

On 15, May 2025 His Excellency Mr. Hamad bin Rashid AL-ATHBA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, received at the headquarters of the Embassy Mr. Klaus Beck, Deputy Regional Director of the United Nations Population Fund's regional office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, based in Istanbul, and Mr. Sérgio Esperança, Head of UNFPA’s Sub-Regional Office for Central Asia, based in Almaty, and Mr. Kemal Goshliyev, Head of the UN Population Fund’s Representative office in Turkmenistan.
